Calling Belfast/ N.I crew

Post by jim91 »

Reckon we maybe need another run again over the summer?

I'm away for a bit but 23rd/24th 30th/31st maybe or else August (give Doc time to MOT the GTS :yup: ? Saturday or Sunday suit best?

Any thoughts on route............. ie good rocco friendly roads like last time :vcool: (except the small off road section I choose LOL)

Plenty A and B roads and no dual carraigeway or motorway maybe :pilot: maybe county down out towards Newcastle etc and get some ice cream or ards peninsula??

I'm away until the end of July, so if you can keep it till after the 26th I would be much obliged. On my annual Munich German pilgrimage. Haven't seen one Rocco for the third year in a row!! Just back from a frustuck beer festival in Konningsdorf. They have a religous ceremony at 9:00 in the morning. Then beer for breakfast with live Jazz and all day drinking. Proper order.Image
At least they know how to do hair cuts over hear. Prost / slainte to all !

Forgot to mention, sitting last night watching the Womens world cup football. I asked the in laws where the Match was being held. Wolfsburg was the answer. Then my father in law, who has spent most of his life working in Siemens calmly told me how he spent many happy years working as a student in the Wolfsburg factory! Back then he told me, Wolfsburg built everything, nothing was shipped in. Small world. The same guy used to design and build Satellites amongst other things for Siemens, not the dishes, the ones that orbit. Now, Kevin, get that car MOT'd!!

Either North Coast ending at Torrs Head or Ards Pin, whatever, Im easy. The longer the better as it is the one day I can spend child free. Crossnacreevy, Ballygowan, Kircubbin, Strangford and back to Belfast on the ferry is a nice drive or Torrs head via whatever, any other suggestions more than welcome.

Kev
The blue one is off the road at the mo, nothing wrong sorned it there and let the insurance slide, all down to the dreaded monies.
Yes would be up for this have access to trade plates and may run run with that only concern is "the blacks" and running into a jobsworth regarding the trade plates.
Ards Pen down one side up the other (the irish sea side would provide jim with his photo opp) or cross over the ferry not fussed. :chill:

There`s a blue scirocco blowin warm wind into my face
The sun is shining on the underside of the bridges
And there`s cars going by with smiles in the windows
