Does anyone know if these exist?

Re: Steering Rack Rebuild Kits
You can buy The Track rods and track rod ends separate and that should do. It is not that often The rack itself wears that much, if it has wear in the rack I think you can adjust it.
There is like a bolt or something down near where the universal joint attaches on to the rack.
For the track rod if you peel back the rack gaiter you will see like a ball and cup joint and on the end nearest the rack there is like a hexangle shape what a spanner fits on and that should undo from the rack.
But it will be tight at first as they noramlly put thread lock on.
Then The track rod end well goes on the end of the track rod
There is only one thing else too is to replace the universal Joint I have had them wear out too.
I hope this helps

Re: Steering Rack Rebuild Kits
Thanks for your reply
I've just bought the Quaife quick rack kit which has rack, pinion, plus some other parts for where the pinion comes out to meet the universal joint.
I haven't taken my rack off but its pretty floppy so whether that is the track rod having worn or the rack i know not but it feels like the rack is moving inside the case. Perhaps i could have saved myself a fortuner and adjusted it
Chap from Quaife advised that i would need a kit but until its in bits i don't know the truth of that
anyway something new to learn
