I get smoke from the heater vents when I switch the blower motor on. It is definately smoke because it reeks like chimney
If I dont have the heater motor on, there is no smoke.
Sounds really daft but could it be because the car has been sitting for approx 10yrs and its debris and rubbish in venting ducts or is it likely to be a wiring issue and Im about to set fire to the old Gruffalo?

Re: smoke from heater vents
I had the same when I first bought the Storm, I took the scuttle cover off and cleaned out all the old leaves and crap that had built up over (probably) 25 years!
Hopefully it is a quick fix for you!

Re: smoke from heater vents
I hope so too!!
I pulled a few leaves out of the NSF lower dash vent but there still looks like there is more debris in there. Ill try to dismantle it when I get some free time.
think a hoover at a service station might work???

Other thing is if you've got a bit of an oil leak that's running onto your exhaust fanimold then burning off.
