Shake rattle and roll!

Post by buggerrit »

On the way to Plymouth volksfest last weekend, following a way too cool aircooled Gold 412
my speed crept up from the usual 65-70 to 80-85 and I noticed - on sweeping (A38 dual carriage)bends
that the steering developed a light "shudder". Any pointers as to what to look at first?
The car is bog standard, 94k miles under its belt.

Wheel bearings, driveshafts, cv joints, tracking, tyre pressures... The list goes on!

Yeah, - out in the leper colony called "overspill" car park lol.
There was another rocco up there as well, mine was parked
just inside bottom gate - hidden in the corner
Spoke to "dougal" from brizzle - he uses sciroccouk forums I think.
Real nice gathering tho'.
