Re: Show us your Mk2 - picture thread.......
new wheels fitted and was a nice day today so took a few photos.
pretty happy with the wheels, although theyre in dire need of a refurb. i'm gonna strip and polish them when the weather gets warmer. i'm trying to find a set of centrecaps, but the wheels seem to be a bit of a rarity, so i might have to modify some other ones or get a set made.
the width / offset means i could run into clearance problems if i ever decided to lower it or got too much weight in her. although it seemed to cope fine with my big, heavy bass cab (played a gig lastnight)

This is my before picture. What you cant see is where someone had smashed the windscreen. The inside is still covered in small bits of glass from the screen, smells all foosty and damp.
After new screen, get her running properly, a right good clean, hoover, treat the leather, new window & door seals as they are totally perished.
Then.......
there is so much I need to do and buy and all I want to do is polish her bum & spoiler (queer I know)

Might be able to help you out with some door seals.
Can't help with windscreen as I cracked mine taking it out.
And is that window seals or have I misread it.

Re: Show us your Mk2 - picture thread.......
window seals between glass and door panel (TGB call them scraper seals if that helps any)
door apperature seals, door seals, possibly window channel seals (the ones the window sits in as it goes up and down)
they are cracked and curling at the edges due to lack of maintenance, care, attention etc.
I think the missing door bump strip (OSF is in the passenger seat along with glass & bits of engine )
