Hey all,
Been running the Scirocco as daily and she's been fine bar a few cold weather starting problems, but she always gets there in the end.
I've just lifted the bonnet to check the oil but seen that there's a leak of what looks like oil coming from the 2nd and 4th (left to right) spark plug recesses, is this oil? If so what's the likely cause?
Cheers in advance.
Andy

Re: Oil coming from spark plug holes
Sounds like a leaking rocker cover gasket to me. Oil is probably leaking out and running down into the sparkplug recess. Simple and cheap to fix.

As Neil says^^^^^^^
Replace it with one from the dealers and it will be a one piece rubber item along with a new stud kit which must be fitted. My one cost me £15, a bargain in my opinion!
