Since i have owned the Rocco it has had difficulty getting into 1st gear when hot. After driving it to London and back this weekend i seems to have got worse (probably me forcing it into gear either end of the A1).
It seems to go into 1st better if i put it into 2nd first. This makes me think it is the Syncromesh. Before I look into this does anyone else have any ideas?

Re: Difficult gear changes
How does the clutch feel for adjustment ? If it needs adjusting or is on its way out ,then you can get the symptons you describe. Difficulty getting 1st, 3rd or reverse is a good tell tale sign. Might be worth having a quick tinker with the adjuster to see if it improves before spending any money.
Don't ask me....it was like that when i got here !

Re: Difficult gear changes
Sound advice, if you can't adjust then get a new cable and try that, get the clutch after trying all the cheep bits first!!!
