Post by sciroccosi »

Hi chaps i wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction i know its not a scirocco and my scirocco is layed up for the winter and some have done a similar conversion in their's, here goes....
Ive recently done a 2litre conversion on my 1991 mk2 golf gti 8v, ive used the the AGG bottom end and the PB head etc, its up and running and goes well but im gonna change the plugs etc, i used the original mk2 PB engine, plugs, dizzy cap an rotor as they are quite new, i have spoke to my mate in the parts at vw an the PB and AGG engines use different plugs, so im wondering which ones to use in the long run, the mk2 or mk3 ones any help/advise welcomed cheers simon oh and i used a 2e dizzy if thats makes any differance cheers

i think you'll probably want the ones correct for the head that is fitted. bosch or nkg would be my preference. champion plugs are best avoided
