Re: Weber - fitting time worth it?
it depends how much power you want and if you want economy or fab soundtrack
my car with a webber pipercross filter and supersprint exhaust was 107bhp and 118lb/ft torque
kept up with my mates standard injection
you will get more with 40s but the economy will halve

Re: Weber - fitting time worth it?
hi mate was me that posted the guide
4 hours yeah a bit much but was a hot day, beer was flowing and was taking pics notes etc,
if i was to do it again 2 hours tops , straight forward , basically unbolt pierburg, fit weber ,feed choke through, you have to bypass the two hoses by either joining them or removing one and feeding the one remaining into where you removed one
if you have fitted a cam , weber piece of cake
mines is an ex engine and difference is very noticeable
good luck give it a go, sound lke you want to learn, so why not give it a go
