Just bought a pair of twin dellorto carbs!

Post by koala_plushie »

They're Dellorto twin 40's, they're going on a mk2 gts, so it's a 1.8 carb. Need a little advice though. Is the stock fuel pump gonna be suficent enough or am I gonna need a juicier one, and am I likely to need a fuel regulator?

Many thanks

i'd be tempted to give it a try on the standard pump before forking out any cash. it should be fine on the stock pump for tickover and sensible driving, it's only going to be when you start pushing it that it might run out of fuel.

Yeh that's kind of what I was thinking, don't want to overfuel as well if I get a new pump :/
