Front washers not working

Front washers not working

The front windscreen washers have decided to stop working,but they sometime work when the wipers are on full speed.
Anyone had a similar problem? or any ideas what it might be? a fuse maybe?

Change the relay. You could also look at the switch on the stalk, these get full of crap, be very careful though!
The pump in the washer bottle could also be goosed, clean up the terminals with some emery paper.

they have decided to stop working alltogether now, no noise from the pump at all. The rear washer is still working though,do they use the same pump?

No they have seperate pumps.

I think they are, aren't they? Just little push-in twin terminal cylinder pumps that go into the washer bottle at the base. Drain the water out first though...
