Hi guys, i am trying to replace the exhaust system on my faithful old GT2. She's started blowing a bit and since she has looked after me so well i would like to treat her to something new.
Does anybody have any advice on what system i should be putting on there, and more importantly where i can source one?
I would quite like to go aftermarket, or something that will help her breath better.
Any suggestions and advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks
new exhaust

Re: new exhaust
Jetex systems come well recommended.
Alternatively you could try dropping by the Longlife place on the A34 N (by the BP services just before the M40).
I had one on my mk1 and loved it.
(I haven't had any dealings with that actual branch - so if you do go, make sure they know what they're talking about before you commit!)

Re: new exhaust
Thanks Ryan,
quick question - of the 2 exhausts that jetex do for the gt2 - which would be best? the 2" or 2.5" diameter?

Thanks again.

Re: new exhaust
If I were you I'd PM Ant (The Autoad) with this one, as I think he has experience of both...

Re: new exhaust
2.5" is too big unless you've got over 150 bhp. It'll cost more to buy, weighs more, and will cost you power. 2" is plenty.
