My mate at work saw a grey mk2 with blue (!) hubcaps on chorlton road.

I saw this once too. It was over a year ago. Looks nice. Got a nod and a wave $rom thw driver too. Don't think its anyone on here though...?

After thinking all mk2's were dead, having not seen another for months...two in one day:

GT2 ... believe to be pearl green but was very dirty...southbound on the M69 around 8am (the kid in that car was be-mused that there was another scirocco!)
Scala...Red...Northbound (I was going south) on the A46 just south of Stratford...I waved but no response!

Bluish silver mk2 heading south on the m5 this morning, it was either just before bristol or just after, It had american style front lights. I was in my red gtII.

Grey mk2 scirocco in headingly area of leeds last friday 24th sept around 1.30-2pm nice deep dish wheels on back and poss standard on the front, was very very nice, i was my mrs's lime green polo very near hanging out of the drivers window looking at this lovely scirocco

E reg silver Mk2 GTX (possibly jade green like mine) heading north on the A3 just outside Guildford. Gave a thumbs up as he overtook but didn't get a response :(

Dark grey Mk2 passed me on the inner ring road in Derby at around 17.00 tonight. I was in the white GT2 heading towards the A52.
