Removing GTX Door Trim
Just picked up my scirocco at the weekend and I need to get the GTX trim off the drivers door to sort out some rust. Is it just glued on or are there screws? If glue, is it just a question of gentle heating with a heat gun to soften the glue? Also once done what is the best thing to use to put it back on again?

Re: Removing GTX Door Trim
I take it you mean the trim at the bottom of the door?
If so, then yes, heat and gentle persuasion. Sticking it back on is a doddle... Tiger Seal or SikaFlex are generally considered to be the best stuff for the job

Thought that'd be the case but always best to ask before ripping the door skin off. I'll try and give it a go this week
