Hi there, this is my mk1 gti (hope pic works) that i've got attached to a jig and turned 90 degrees. It's ready and waiting for a good mobile welder to come along and weld the panels i've bought to secure the corroded infamous axel mounting areas, anybody know any good ones in the liverpool area???? I'm supposed to by driving to the alps in this in august!!!! :help:

HI this is my 1979 mk1gls totaly original not a thing missing from it spare wheel has never been used must have original tyre on it :good:

Hi All,
Firstly - WOW! All of your MK1 Scirocco's look amazing. When I was younger I was a serial MK1 owner, and I've owned 10 MK1's over the years. Recently registered with this site and seen 1 or 2 of my previous cars! - it's been amazing to see them again.
Thought I'd buy another one. This one's a '77 GLS which needs some TLC.

Wanted a GTI, GLI or STORM but couldn't find one, I'll keep looking though.

I need heaps of parts for this GLS, so I'm off to the 'Parts Forum'.
