Fuel lines help!

Hey gents, some help if you will... Im talking a carbed GT2 by the way.

Finally got my stupidly busy last year of uni out the way and realised I had a quite substantial fuel leak! So, new filler neck on order, 2nd hand tank to be rubbed down and repainted and fuel lines to be changed (they were an advisory) on the last MOT. Instead of messing about with rigid lines I was thinking of just running rubber lines from the tank to the pump and the same for the return line. Just like the stuff that goes from the pump to the carb. Does anyone know if this is allowed with regards to MOT regs, and has anyone done it themselves.

whilst it shouldn't give you any problems for the mot providing they are secure, personally i'd rather do them in the rigid plastic that newer cars have. should be able to get it easily from good motor factors. comes in blue and white for send and return, but i can never remember which way round the colours go

Finally, I have the internet again! Thanks for this, I can't seem to find any of what you have talked about (online), maybe I'm just been stupid but if you know of anywhere, please let me know.

you'll need to check size and length required. another option is 'microbore' copper pipe from a plumbers merchant. available in 8 or 10mm
