Looking for certain hose

Hey, just a quick one... one of my hoses has split, it is the one going from the cooling pump up to the connection to the engine block. Was just wondering what the car part is so I can order one or if anyone has one spare. Looking on GSF I think the part is 179VG0650 but I just wanted to make sure!

The car is a 1.8 inj by the way.

Picture, if it's the one I think you mean it is still available from VW, I can't seem to find the receipt with the part number on!

Its the "S-shaped" one in the centre of the photo that runs parallel with the dipstick.

Yes, the one I thought, I got it from the dealers for my Scala, about 7 quid if I remember rightly, genuine part = fits!!!

Nice one, ill pop down tomorrow, will they know the one i mean? As I dont have the part number and cant take the car down there.

Get them to bring the ETKA parts system up and you can point out the hose,they can double check it is for your car (DX engine!), they probably won't have it in stock but usually get within 24 hours, ask for a bit of discount, they can only say no!

Think that's the one that you want, but double check with the dealer.

Really? That'd be great! Vw have one coming today but I haven't paid for it and I think the guy said it was £18! Would you be able to hold on to it until July 3rd please mate as that is when I'm moving back to loughborough and then I can pop round (in the Scirocco finally)
