Single wiper arm on earley mk2
Single wiper arm on my Scirocco mk2 1983,not sure if anyone can spread some light on this little problem I have.I wont to change the arm on my single wiper arm so that it sits on the drivers side anybody know if thire is a conversion for this?
Re: Single wiper arm on earley mk2
If I understand you right - you want the blade to rest on the driver's side rather than the passenger side when it comes to rest.
Unscrew the holding nut, remove arm from spindle, reposition arm on spindle where you want it to rest, refit nut.

Wouldn't that make it try to wipe the bonnet?

You adjust it on the top of the wiper motor itself, last time i tried it was a bit tricky to get it sat right on the screen tho

VW Scirocco 16V GTX, Kamei X1 and a half

Um, now that you mention it - yesthe edmundator wrote:Wouldn't that make it try to wipe the bonnet?
As Birdy says, you have to unscrew the short arm from the motor spindle and rotate that arm until the wiper is in the position you want. It can be a bit trial and error to get it right.Birdy wrote:You adjust it on the top of the wiper motor itself, last time i tried it was a bit tricky to get it sat right on the screen tho
