is there any way of solving the age old probem of the cracking dashbourd? :dash:


remember, if it's got tit's or tyre's, sooner or later it's gonna give you trouble.

Either don't park your car in the sun - ever. Or get one of those fabric covers they have in hotter countries like the States or Oz. I think someone on here sold a dash cover a few months ago in the for sale section. Once the dash has cracked I don't think there's anything you can do to reverse the damage.

You can get them repaired and re-coloured. The company I used to do the leather seats in the Storm and repair the seat in the Scala, called Furniture Clinic.
They can fill the cracks then analyse the colour then re-colour the dash.
They have branches around the country, they also did Rohan's black and red leather seats.

Thats the company. Its a franchise so each branch is run by its own manager if you like.. worth a shout for sure!

h have heard of people filling the cracks with something black (sikaflex for example) then sculpting it with a red hot pin when set to match up the marks in the original dash.

there are plenty of companies out there who do dash repairs. mainly aimed at where phone kits and the like have been removed, but filling a crack shouldn't be any different
