Was wondering if it's worth having the engine stripped and dipped. Got a spare block and a bonus on the way so was considering breaking the block down and completely rebuilding the engine. Thanks to people buying me parts rather than giving me the money I've got most of the other stuff (high lift cam, vernier pulley, complete gasket sets, pumps, shiny head etc) so it makes sense to just pull my finger out and rebuild the engine.
Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on companies or just sack the idea off and buy myself a fully rebuilt lump.

Re: Dipping and stripping
pends on how much your willing to go on the quids side for a new block, check big boys toys for starters not a bad price for a complete rebuilt 1900cc engine.
As for the dipping and rebuilding im not 100% sure of anywhere in your area, might be worth giving a company that skim port etc heads down there a shout
where they get there dipping / cleaning done..
