Well, this wee Rocco has had a few lazy sh**es working on it over the past years
I spent an hour there troubleshooting the Moss MS715 alarm on the car - to then realise that it was fully wired EXCEPT for the positive supply lead. Somebody had fitted ANOTHER immobiliser - and left the Moss in place. There must've been 20+ wires criss crossing all over the engine bay, simply doing nothing! Lazy gits. Anyway - its been hauled out and the engine bay looks much better for it.
So - the current (faulty) immobiliser was a Meta Security M36T touch key immobiliser. Its given up, so I've started removing it. Its all done at the fuse box luckily. It was easy to see that the main +ve starter power was interrupted, and one other black wire was interrupted. I reconnected these 2 and am glad to say that the car now cranks! Brilliant.
Well, not - cos it wont fire.
Theres only one wire left that I have to remove and that is tapped off a +ve switched supply. No big deal there.
So, I'm stumped. The immobilliser is disconnected. No more to remove, yet theres no spark. The car cranks on the starter 100% but it refuses to fire.
Now the only thing I've noticed is that theres 2 OE wires from the loom that are NOT connected. They're hanging to the right of the fuse box.
1 x Grey/Yellow (male spade connector)
1 x Green/Black (female connector)
Are these a red herring? Nothing to do with the problem? Maybe its just a simple fuse that powers the coil? I've no manual and the fuse list is in German. In saying that, I pulled them all and they look OK.
HELP!

The car is booked into the bodyshop for next week and if I cant get her running, I'll have to call it off. Any help at all very much appreciated.
