24v stereo help

Post by Nate »

i want to put a sub into my truck. the main problem is that as it is 24V, i'd need to run a cable for the amp all the way to the front then all the way back to the battery to get over the fact that the cab tilts, which would end to be very long and therefore very expensive. if i wired the power supplies of two 12v amps together in series, each powering a 10" sub, would it work?

No it wouldn't work. Probably best to fit one of these or similiar of suitable rating.
