Anyone got good and bad experiences with poly bushes?

Do a search mate - we've had a few threads on bushes (fnar-fnar).
I beleive one of the recent ones sang the praises of Powerflex (what I went for).
As Jake said standard VW items will make a big difference, and would be my preference on a lowered daily.

i've gone for a slightly used suspension setup involving koni yellow rears complete and VAG fronts with the gas inserts from GSF and Koni springs all round 40mm drop. I'm getting Flo-Flex rear bushes and VAG front bushes and i'm replacing the top mounts. The Flo-Flex rear bush kit also comes with the shock absorber things that go at the top of the struts. Think i'm gonna replace the bump stops too. Reckon i'll stick with rubber rather than costly poly ones. Total cost of all parts to me will come in at approx. £250 for the lot. Seems like a good value buy to me.
