Hi all
My Rocco has been a sieve for a few months before I bought it. I've sorted any leaks, but the moisture has killed the LED clock on the dash.
I'm looking for replacement dials, and have found a few, but I'm just wondering if theres a way to change the Odometer so the mileage is the same as mine is now? My cars done 90k, but the replacements are well over 100k
Thanks
Changing my dials!!

You can split the cluster and swap over your speedo with the high mileage one. I wouldnt try to reset the high mileage one. It's never going to line up and is probably illegal.

i think it's only legal if you try and change it to the wrong mileage to deliberately deceive someone. not the easiest thing to get right though, so swapping your current speedo into the new clocks is probably the way forward

Re: Changing my dials!!
There isn't a requirement in the IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) which replaced the SVA to even have a mileometer in a car, however, as Nate has suggested if fitted and it is clocked to show a lower mileage to deceive a buyer then it is illegal. On a seperate note, there are plenty businesses that will happily and legally do it for you if you need this done :)
Re: Changing my dials!!
You can click the numbers over but its a b@stard to get them straight again?! Just swap the speedo! As long as you lay the bits out as you take them off you really can go wrong!
