Where do I buy quality rubber bush kits (complete front)?

As above. I don't want crappy copies, I want VAG or preferably better than O.E. if possible. I'd rather not pay more than £50 though ideally, I can get poly for that and I don't want poly on the front.

I stuck a full set of VAG ones on mine, but that was a year and a half ago, and I don't recall the cost, but I'm sure it wasn't too expensive... under the £50 mark at least and that included ARB bushes too

Anyone got experience with non-VAG ones? Preferably better than O.E. as opposed to cheap copies.

I keep seeing posts saying rubber is better than poly on the front. Can someone who's actually experienced the rubber give me some pointers? Surely they must have fitted rubber themselves to be giving advice on the matter. Come on rubber promoters, where are you? I just want to know where to buy them and if there's any better than VAG. What do you mean by better than OE? They're rubber bushes. The rubber ones are softer than the poly ones so there's a bit more 'give' in them. For example, if you replace your engine mounts with poly ones you'll feel more vibration etc from the engine. Same goes for the wishbone bushes with respect to the feedback you'll get from the road surface.

By better than OE i mean more durable, better quality, harder wearing. I'm doing poly on the back and rubber on the front, but i don't want the rubber on the front to perish or crack or split after 6 months. So basically i need genuine VAG ones or some pattern ones made of even better quality rubber if there is such a thing. Can i buy VAG ones from VW? Do places like GSF do better versions? That's essentially the info i'm after. Cheers.

As far as rubber bushes go you're unlikely to get better than the original ones from VAG. Pattern ones are usually lesser quality - never found a pattern part that's better than original. Just my experience though.

Specifically of bushes that might be true, so i'll take your advice and go to VW for them. As far as pattern parts being better in general goes, there's loads of improved parts out there but obviously they tend to be more expensive. Have a look in a euro car parts catalogue, you'll see what i mean. Thanks for your help mate.
