ignition module help gt2 carb

Does anyone know where the ignition module live's in a 91 scirocco ex carb , i have been told they are either in the distributor or in the engine somewhere , also i have found a few types on ebay

Yep was under under the scuttle panel on my GT2.

Found it cheer's guy's i would have been there all day looking in the engine bay .
