Uh oh...spluttering suddenly

Post by KB88 »

Cruising into work today, no problems at all. Then all of a sudden from no where the car starting spluttering and i lost power for a second at a time when i went on the accelerator.
Seemed like fueling to me so i posted it in here, but im not 100% sure.

Recently ive made an oil change and replaced oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, HT leads, distribution cap.

Im at work now, it happened about 2-3 mins away. So i hope i get home!
Anything to check guys before i head home?

Thanks

Hi, can only suggest a quick check that all leads and wiring in the engine bay are connected correctly and have not come loose until you can check further at home.

Due to the pot holes being F'ing rediculous recently ive had two leads come off from the auto choke and that casued problems. Not happy.
Ill check though, thanks.
