Exhausts

Post by Nski »

Hello guys,

Happy New Year by the way! I wonder if I can pick your brains  My mk1 rocco is in need of a new backbox, and was wondering where abouts to get one of these? Eurocar parts, GSF? and would they be mk1 golf backboxes? and will they fit?

thanks

Norm

Somebody may correct me here, but this is what I think is right! There is a small difference (dont ask me what it is!) between Mk1 Golf and a 'proper' Mk1 Scirocco backbox.

Having said that, I have a Remus Mk1 Golf Backbox on my Mk1 Scirocco, and it fits just fine. Hope that helps

It may well be that the tailpipe is longer, that certainly rings a bell. I didnt like the length of the pipe on the Remus one when I had it on my golf, so cut it off and shortened it anyway, so it is short enough now!

If you go with a golf one, I would have thought any of the usual suspects would be cheap enough - Euro Car Parts, GSF etc
