Finally tuned my scirocco 16v r1

Post by Rocco-Matt »

After a couple of months of pottering around to make sure nothing came lose or fell off. Finally got round to having it rolling roaded and tuned. Well im happy to say £120 and a few hours later, its done and 140bhp, which im really happy with considering the engine is 22 yrs old and completely standard internally and had an estimate 180k on it.

thats fly wheel, think it was 120ish i think, both totals im bowled over with. I do wonder if a less abused engine would be much better, so chatting to a friend and might have a go at porting and polishing.
