Anyone have a photo of...

Post by Joe87 »

...a Scirocco with 'rally' style circular auxiliary/driving lights mounted on the front? I'm planning to put some on mine but it would be good to have an idea what it actually looks like. I'm thinking this kind of thing:

Hope it's legal too...

Cheers.

Nice, that's exactly what I was after. I have the separate full beams and smaller grill so the second one applies to me...

Cheers Bluestreak.

Hehe I hope so! You wouldn't happen to know the best way to mount them? Not sure if you had them on a Scirocco before?

it'll either be drill the bumper and bolt them on, or they'll have funny clips to mount them to the grille. bumper is probably the best option, they'll probably snap the grille fairly quick

Yeah I was hoping not to have to drill the bumper...and also wouldn't it be better to mount them to something metal? I was thinking of some kind of bars that poked through the grill or something. It will probably be easier to work something out once I have the lights.

You could try emailing the seller to see if they know how they were fitted?

Already one step ahead of you ;) They gave me a pretty good idea that involved clamping them to the radiator grill with some metal plates - just hope the grill is strong enough...
