Central locking pump

Central locking pump

Where on the mk2 is the central locking pump ment to fit then ?
Dammed if it fits in the drivers side rear quater, behind the washer bottle.
So im guessing it's ment to fit in the passenger side rear quater some where.
Anyone comfirm this ?

thats where mine was when i stripped the original brm mate and looking at haynes confirms that too - assuming you mean the pump encased in a black plastic/foam surround?

sorry, no - its on the offside rear in amongst where the washer bottle is.
