Brake Caliper Painting.....

Post by jxp »

So think I might paint my calipers when I chenge the discs n pads.

But what colour......Red seems to be a cracking colour but what do you think. My car is , wll,not quite silver-need to check paint code, with black kit.

Any pics of your rocco with painted calipers.

Cheers

Red is the only colour in my opinion. But hammerite smooth silver would be the only other option..

But hey, thats my preference.. :music:

I agree. Did mine blue not long ago to be different. I'm now changing to red. Red is common because it looks the best, end of.

Cheers guys, red it is.

Next question do I pay for caliper paint or just use halfords engine paint...which is far cheaper..

Red Hammerite smooth. You can get it in a little tin for about £5.00. Find yourself a paintbrush and your away! :pilot:

I did mine in body colour, doesnt look too bad when first done but as i rarely clean the calipers they look more black than purple anyway

If i were to do it again i'd go with black - never looks dirty :vcool:
