Mk2 Scirocco for sale

Post by rosie »

With a very heavy heart I’m selling my lovely old Scirocco.
I didn’t post about the eBay sale here because I don’t think my post complies with the rules on sales posts,  but I thought I should let the other Register members know in case anyone’s interested. Please delete this if I’m breaking the rules.

The auction ends tonight. https://ebay.us/m/EtK48N

I’ve been a member here for almost 17 years, lots of you have helped me keep my amazing car on the road so thank you. Sadly the dream is now over. Hopefully it will have a new owner who can bring it back to its best. Thank you to all the admins and members who've helped me over the years. I am so grateful for all the advice and time time you’ve given me.

I love it - same colour and year as mine. 17 years as a daily drive is impressive - I can only imagine the wrench.

Bit of an update. The sale didn’t go through as the buyer cancelled immediately after the auction.
And now there’s a further development that means I might be able to keep the car after all. Too soon to say at the moment but I’m crossing my fingers and it could be an interesting story if it comes off.
