Hi Guys
So the car has been on the ramp today for other issues but we spotted a small leak coming from a vey small pipe which attaches to the fuel pump I think? I was wondering do you guys buy rubber hose and cut to size or buy officially from one of the spares sites? I've been reading a bit about fake rubber pipes and I'm a little concerned.
Can someone please point us in the right direction? Many Thanks.

That's a pic of the offending pipe.

Looks like someone been there before as the wrong type of jubilee clip has been used, fit some fuel hose clips as they seal better.
I think the hose you need is part number 533201543
I got the number from here part 21 ?

If that’s the right hose as it’s different sizes at each end you can buy one here.

Fuel pipes should have jubilee clips like this. (Lots of places sell them so shop around for the best price.)

We've got the pipe and clips you suggested Mark. What's the easiest way of changing the pipe without draining the fuel tank. Can we pinch a pipe further along the chain to stop it coming out? Thanks.

Yes if you can find a good bit of hose to clamp or have a can to catch the fuel that comes out and stick your finger over the end of the pipe.

Re: Fuel leak from pipe attached to fuel pump?
The most fuel that will come out, will be what drains back out of the main fuel pump and what drains out of the small plastic tank through the metal pipe to the hose you are about to replace. The fuel is not gravity fed from the fuel tank but supplied via the in tank lift pump.
