Has anyone here swapped out their starter for a powerlite starter?
They’re very common on lots of older classics and they seem to do one for a Scirocco.
Just wondered if anyone had experience of them?

Re: Powerlite starter?
For a start, my (see what I did there!) My starter is on it's last legs. I've seen the Powerlites in action. More powerful, latest technology, lower impact on the battery, better cold starting etc.etc. They are expensive though.
My brother has one on both his Vitesse and his Dolomite. Thought I might take the plunge if I can get one cheaper at the NEC on Friday

Re: Powerlite starter?
I fitted one. Managed to start the car after it standing for 4 weeks and the volt gauge saying just over 10v.
