Additional Information: this car has been unused in my garage for 30 years. Metallic green with green interior and sunroof. Original alloy wheels. Owned from new by my father in law and laid up since he died. Completely original condition and essentially undamaged. Just been unwrapped after years under bubble wrap and seems relatively rust free considering the years but obviously in need of complete mechanical overhaul. Perfect for a restoration project.

Hi Terry
I was only the other day, wondering what you had done with the car - I came across your name and number in some papers I was going through.
You may remember that I came over in my red left hand drive Mk1 to have a look. Your children had never seen one on the road !!
Unfortunately for me, you did not feel able to let it go at that time, and now is not the right time for me.
It deserves a sympathetic restoration and I hope it goes to someone who will do it justice.
