Today's jobs have mostly been a cambelt change, new boot lock seal and a tidy up around the rear number plate lights. Nothing serious on either front just some light corrosion that needed removing from the offside number light, a paint chip. All ground out, treated and a couple of coats of primer on. Changed all the blue grommets that hold the rear boot badges on as most of those were split - another source of water ingress. New boot lock seal as the old one was very perished, new one slipped in easily with a bit of vinyl and rubber care to lube the lock body going back through the seal.
Felt the need to grind all the crap off the bottom pulley so that and the water pump pulley have been cleaned up, treated and are currently getting some coats of paint prior to going back on the car.
Still waiting on various suspension bits as its scheduled for a complete rebuild front and back of all the rubber bits, new front wishbones, ball joints, tie rod ends and springs and dampers etc.
