Original seat refurb

Post by frlrubett »

Got a non damaged drivers seat, but its very uncomfortable, creaky and I sink very low into it. Is there any DIY repairs you can do, or someone I can get to refurb it?

Some info here as I believe the Mk2 Scirocco seat are similar to Mk1 Golf cabriolet.

Briano1234 has a few guides on seats in his long list of DIY fixes...

You will need to check if these seat foams also fit a Mk2 ?

I do have seat filling foam, original pieces which can be put in.
Send me an Email at scirocco53@ziggo.nl and I can send some pics.

Where are you based? There is someone in Surrey who can maybe help. He has a collection of classic American cars too
