GTX Diesel - Was it yours? C131 BHA

Just picked up a GTX with a diesel engine, the rear window is plastered with Scirocco Resister stickers, recent as 2016 meet.

Would like to know more about the car's history, has a fuel issue - died on the M25 this afternoon.

Think that belonged to shane, called it smokey joe. Got it from swansea i think

Had a huge folder of bills for the work done, about 3k for the engine conversion

When was the last time it had a fuel filter?

Yeah it is, got a pic of it on my phone. He had it in 2017 and sold it and got a brown storm and eventually sold that

It certainly earned its name, never seen so much smoke. The diesel engine is coming out, it rattles like a tractor.

Guy's sending me the folder, did mention engine conversion costing around 5k.

While it's been neglected no doubt of late (can't see any sign of service since purchase), it's a great spec GTX with full leather interior and some of the nice to haves included.

Originally it was just going to be a donor car but can't bring myself to take it apart. So I now have another project.

The metal uj heat sheild is top piece of work too, car even has the mey chip immob

Assume that's the switch in the engine? What exactly does that do?

Switch in the engine is a tuning box and ups the power. Its always sounded that way

His name on here was scrappy, he may visit occasionally

Thought I recognised the car, a friend of mine had it converted to diesel and I think had the black leather put in it.

He's said if it's still cut out, he thinks there's a cut off fuse under the aluminium scuttle.
