Wheel trim
Got some new tyres recently and the lads forgot to put my wheel trim back on properly/at all, and now it's vanished.
I wondered if anyone here has upgraded to chrome and has one of the old outer wheel trims knocking about that I could buy please? eBay doesn't have anything and I'm not sure where else to look.
Couple of photos attached. Hard to see but the first one has the trim missing, and the second one is how it ought to look. Thanks

Re: Wheel trim
They sometimes pop up on international e-bay. They have the same part no. as the Mk3 golf ones so it might be worth looking at those, though i think this one is overpriced by about £9 looking at the state of it...

Re: Wheel trim
The Golf Mk3 one has a different part number and profile. The part no for the Scirocco Mk2 trim is 176601157V7L, also apparently used on Mk1 cabrio and some late Mk2 Golfs.

Re: Wheel trim
Thanks guys. I think that's the exact one Jpr1977 - I take your point about the price, but to be honest it's in a better state than any of mine :( I was anticipating having to spend at least a tenner.
I knew someone here would come up trumps!

Re: Wheel trim
The one on ebay has a different part no - 1H0601157A - a different profile from 176601157 but may well fit. Search the two part numbers on Google images and you will see what I mean.

Re: Wheel trim
Hi Nate, thanks for your post.So sorry for not replying to this. The car has fallen by the wayside for the last couple of months. Long story involving knee replacements.
I'd be really interested in taking one off your hands (or the set if that's the only option) if you still have them. How much do you want for them please?
Cheers, Rosie

Re: Wheel trim
I think the OP (nearly two years ago) was referring to the metal beauty ring rather than the centre cap. I suspect a lot of people just replace them with non-OEM chrome ones. The OEM ones come up on eBay occasionally. For example,

I do like steel wheels with those chrome rings. But I like BBS alloys more!
