I've been a mk1 owner for around 10 years and haven't seen another one locally in ages.

150 miles in varying conditions on different runs - so far so good!

Couldn't make the Nationals last minute personal reasons - gutted.
Done about 350 miles now and a couple of local car shows.
Took the advice on fluids and just changed the engine oil and filter which only had 350 miles on them, also did the gearbox oil and was pleasantly surprised with it colour.
So all is good at the moment - but - it will have to go :( to a good home.

The GTI is now sold & gone to a very good home in the west country. Thanks again for all the advice over the past few years and good to meet a few of you! Hope to have a catch up at the next NW mini meet - but not in a Rocco! Cheers.
