Hi everyone, so my fan resistor pack has gone and I'm currently left with only fan setting 3 working and after looking at the crazy prices for 2nd hand resistors I wondered if anyone has attempted to hack the loom and fit modern resistors instead?
Also I was wondering if anyone's got a spare resistor pack they could measure the restance if at each connection so I could have a good at making a replacement for mine

Re: DIY blower resistor
you could retro fit a ford one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Car-Heater-Blo ... istor+pack
basically does the same job but the ford one is fitted in the cold air duct to keep it cool so some though into mounting it somewhere it will stay cool is a must.

Re: DIY blower resistor
It's a super simple circuit, so you can always just breadboard 2 resistors together, or like mention above, just buy a pack from another car. You'll only need to resistance circuits (For 1 and 2) and straight through for the third setting.
