hi all,
the indicator led has stopped working, i know its got somthing to do with the connection on the bottom of the cluster because if i wiggle the wiring to the plug it will come back to life.
is there a way of taking apart the plug and making the connection tighter?

If you remove the black plastic cover on the socket attached to the instrument cluster and carefully lift the blue mylor and stick some electrical tape around the plastic tongue on the instruments to bulk out the connection.

Did it fix the problem?
Links I posted are for MK1 Golf cabriolet and I think the instruments dash do differ compared to the Mk2 Scirocco?
