Mk2 Headlight Wiring

Just having a quick look online at looms and in this one you can see the white/red and white/blue wires with the plugs on (bottom left for fuse box end, bottom right to headlight end??) just another guess... but does your outside temperature on the MFA work if you have one?
Not sure if you car an carb or fuel injection?

To be honest I have no idea if it works haha it's an injection 1992,
The mfa never used to work at all but I'll have a look when I get a chance, I feel you could be onto something.

I've checked and the 2 wires go to the temperature sensor, they go into the chassis leg and out at the front, mine is fitted behind the bumper and the 2 wires have a black plastic sleeve over them.
Not a great picture but you can just make them out in the centre of the pic.
