Polo ones will work but they sit a little higher and require a bit of trimming.

i have polo scrapers and i think i was praising the fitment to someone at the national.

trimming is easy but i do find they are tight up against the glass but does give after a week or two to a nice fit.

Fairly sure mine were from a 3 door polo too, great big things that you'll have to cut down to size (dont forget to champer the ends in like I didnt! lol)

You can buy them new for a Mk1
http://www.classic-vw.co.uk/mk1-scirocc ... 7950-p.asp

If you read page 4 of this thread I believe the Mk1 Golf cabriolet ones will fit as they are a little longer than the Mk1 Scirocco so again will need to be trimmed to fit.
https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/golf-ca ... or-window/

I think there was some other places selling new ones but I can't seem to find them at the moment.

Hello everybody.

The reproduction seals are ready.

They are exactly like the originals except that these have no metal / aluminium insert which can go bad.

Seals can be bought through Essex Tom here on the register or through Dreadnought customs on Facebook.

Tom does the UK selling for me which will save you P+P abroad.

Just send him a message.

Are these suitable for Mk 2? And are they still for sale? Cheers

I have informed about 5 times along with a lot of German drivers.

I have now started a attempt to have them made over here in The Netherlands (same as with raintrays).

Mold is being made as we speak and will be expecting samples soon.

Only step then is to testfit them and then find a company who will put the 'pussyskin' on as the firm who does the rubberwork is not able to do this.

Had a first price sent but that exceeded the €.50,00 a piece mark so that is a no go.

I do want to keep the price under that amount for one side.

As soon I know more I will et you all know.

Count me in Joost... also been looking to no avail.

Cheers

Hello Russ,

A new batch is being made now and is ecpected end of January beginning of February.

When they are ready you will see, or you can make a preorder with Thomas from Dreadnought Customs as he is selling them in the UK for me.
