Late Mk2 E reg GTX ending LYH in grey heading eastbound on the M4 between maidenhead and slough today around 5:30pm, overtook you in my grey X4 and waved but dont think you saw me. I seem to recall someone recently buying this car on the forum?

Hi James, that's mine, but in the pic it was my dad's. And yes between us we've had a lot of them.
How did you find it?

Black mk2 turning right at Cat & Fiddle Windmill heading towards West Hallam/Stanley yesterday (Sat 3rd) at about 10:15am. Thought it was a J reg but may have been mistaken.

hey brunty
i used to holiday at the campsite down the road behind the TATA garage (my ex had a cabin up there) and when we came into the village at lanidloes i would often see the cars
we would pop into the shops and the red lion to have dinner.

im planning on coming down your way sometime soon and taking the scenic route to machynlleth then on up tywyn following the coast then back to dolgoch falls and return to brum.
would be great to meet up and maybe have a mini cruise
the mountain road between the b4518 and machynlleth is maybe my most favourite road to have driven to date in the UK

Saw a red MK2 with a black Scirocco decal along the sill/door bottoms driving past the Towcester McDonalds with a bunch of other VWs today.

Mine was tucked away in the car park, so probably didn't get a return spot.

Mk3 Blue Scirocco (58 reg) in the Elan Valley on Friday 30th June - we were parked up opposite Dol-y-Mynach Reservoir, they passed us pipping the horn as we were in my Mk2 GTX. :-)

Alas, I don't live there, but I know the road you mean, it's a beast...
