Thanks for all the help guys , BUT particularly unknownmale who gave me the encouragement to persevere and find the correct hoses for my car!!!
Brax stuff is now supplied via a German organisation called JP Group A/S. I contacted them over last week-end and they linked me to a company who they said might have the pipes in stock. Their website showed nil available, but a phone call to them later rewarded me with the fact they still had a pair on the shelf. They also have many parts for Golfs and thus indirectly for Scirocco too so am putting up a picture for anyones benefit. Unbelievably, they are also local to me here in Cornwall....normally everything is hundreds of miles away! The parcel shelf straps were excellent value too so bought a pair as you can see from my invoice.
Finally this proves there ARE two types at least of brake hoses for VW Scirocco callipers!!
END OF THREAD!
front brake flexible hose, Mk 2.

Glad you managed to find some.
veedub machine is a very helpful company and I've bought a few things from them in the past as they are on eBay as well. I did have a problem with a engine sump which had a faulty screw thread for the sump bolt so it would not seal as the thread was on an angle and veedub machine was very helpful in finding and sending out a replacement as there whole batch of sumps had the same problem.

Thanks Mark, I reckon its worth mentioning the companies that "go the extra mile" to be helpful.
Especially as it might help some other member of this Register in the future….gotta look after your mates as indeed unkownmale did for me.
