Alternator Upgrade

Post by Risocco »

2 days before Cosford, my alt has started to sound like a G ladder :ire:

So I was wondering, instead of doing a like-for-like swap, is there a better one I could fit? If so what would be the advantages of this.

Many thanks for any help guys :hi:

Alex, you could always look for a 90amp alternator obviously a much more powerful output.

I have a 90 amp on my Storm, the garage I use gave it to me, I had a spare as well which I sold to someone on here.
You could have a look on Ebay or some of the VW breakers.
I will ring one that is local to me at about half 9 when they open.
