Been to a few shows recently, no real changes or work on the car.



Got one picture in a classic car mag and trust my luck covered in detailing tape!



One from a classic show where I managed to take second place...



And finally Donny Dubs where I got best watercooled, it wasn't the biggest show but had a great day.

Got a new little piece I've been looking for a while today, Scirocco steering wheel centre badge to get rid of the standard VW one I currently have. Just needs a quick clean and a spare 5 minutes to fit...

I also stupidly smashed my front plate surround which was annoying. With the plate on you could hardly see it but I knew it was there so managed to find a white one and had it painted in the factory finish.

The P slots I've been using on the car were NOS when I first put them on so my original centre caps didn't match, I've finally got round to having them painted 2 years later! I haven't fitted them to the car yet but they look good in a spare wheel...

Been looking for some genuine mats for a while finally got these rubber ones that have come up like new with some work.



Took the Datsun to fuelled society show today for a change instead of the Rocco.

Had a great weekend at VW festival.

Placed Top 10 on the Saturday and got a cool picture with some storm troopers.







Finally ran the centre caps in the P Slots after all this time...



Camped the full weekend and the car was fully loaded but mainly with blankets protecting the trims ha ha



Also had another club member next to me on the show and shine with a gorgeous Kamei kitted Mk2 but didn't get any pictures unfortunately.

Had one brand new lamp unit for a while, been waiting to find another so I can fit the pair together and finally located this after months of searching.

I had these Scala/ White cat lights delivered today, it's not very often mint ones come up so I sourced these in Germany. Will see what they look like but they will probably go back up for sale.
