Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
According to my wife, the blue badge on the horn push 'doesn't go', luckily I had a black Wolfsburg hornpush in stock
I make her right, does look better than the blue.

Passenger side speaker grill wouldn't fit, you can see some of the damage to the speaker surround
Out with the dremel
And now it fits...

Carpet back in the boot, only been out for about two years! It's lasted ok considering it's been kicking about the garage.

Final bits of the audio going in. I know you can't see in the boot, but I just like the basket!
I've had this Kenwood amp for about two decades!

Do you know where I could get a centre button like that? I need a Wolfsburg logo for my Cup car's steering wheel.

Just finished reading all 37 pages, very impressed with the thought that's gone into this build. Can tell youre an air cooled boy at heart, the handbrake cover and Flat4 wheel gave that away! Surprised you needed a boss adapter - thought the splines were the same as '74-on Beetle? I've got a Mota Lita on my rocco that I bought from a guy with a late bug. Love the Mini wheels, they really work with the overall look of the car and I've never seen another set on anything other than the stock Mini!

Cheers dude, much appreciated. The previous boss I had was for a '64 bug (which also fitted my '71 Ghia) so I needed the later one for the 'rocco.
Still undecided on whether to change them or not, I keep flitting between detailing them or fitting something else (Ronal Turbo or Rota RB)

Been a slow year, but managed to get half hour to play earlier.

Gave the boot panels a squirt of paint, they didn't come out perfect but they'll do for now. (I painted them too wet so now thay have some shiny bits and some matt bits) And a new set of pop studs to hold them in.

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
Well, she finally got a run out for the first time this year, for the MOT. Sailed through, but am seriously considering selling the old girl. She doesn't get enough use and seems to be a waste leaving her sitting on the driveway. Only 231 miles since the last MOT, less than 1500 miles since I bought her just over 4 years ago
